Number 466 in the book - write a limerick
Now I probably have done this one before, but it's been a very long time and I can't recall any that I may have written in the past so I'll give it another go. The instructions say the racier the better but that's not really my bag, so here goes my attempt:
There once was a fella called Pete
Who had unusually large feet
He took lengthy paces
And had ropes for his laces
The smell was awful in the heat!
So, I did enjoy this a little. I'm not entirely happy with the end result but I enjoyed trying to think of the rhyme and rhythm as it's something I rarely do. I don't think it will be a regular hobby but I might have another go on a long train journey in the future.
